Deciduous fruiting shrub or small tree has large displays of red blooms in summer, and large, red-pink, tangy fruit in early fall. Use this small pomegranate tree as container plant, espalier, hedge or accent. Fruit is used for commercial juice.

Prefers enriched soil with good drainage. During blooming period increase watering, but reduce frequency when fruiting. Feed in early spring with a fruit tree fertilizer. Prune to shape in early spring.
